Marlon Portales (Cuba, 1991. Currently lives in Miami, Florida) graduated from the Superior Institute of Art (ISA) in Havana (2018) with the highest honors for his academic and professional achievements.

Portales is a multidisciplinary artist, working with several media, including NFTs, painting, digital art, performance, sculpture, installation, and video. He has a political and ideological worldview that results in works with sociological and philosophical questions to create dialogues and more universal reflections.

He is currently developing creative practices related to blockchain and NFTs. Since the beginning of 2021, his personal work has been associated with this new medium as a creator of personal works and collectible projects and as a collector. He has been one of the promoters and organizers of the Cuban NFT art community.

His most recent project is the creation of Tropical Mind LLC, a personal company based in Miami with the mission to offer artistic services of production, design, consulting, and creation of unique, editioned, and derivatives works of art (NFTs, paintings, sculptures, murals, merchandise).
