Sallie Jian launched and is Head of SAP.iO New York (venture capital and corporate innovation arm of SAP). She has built and managed relationships with over 200+ partners and sourced over 50 startups for SAP’s partner ecosystem in strategic areas such as future of work, retail/CX, supply chain, sustainability, AI/ML, web3/blockchain, and more. Sallie built the SAP.iO NY platform from the ground up including processes around sourcing, due diligence, thesis, portfolio management, business development and talent. In addition, she advises Corporate Development and executives on M&A and startup investment opportunities.

Sallie spearheads SAP’s enterprise adoption of web3/blockchain startups in digital identity, supply chain, digital assets/NFTs, and metaverse. Through SAP.iO, she advises partners and Fortune 500 executives on how to bridge growth, technology, and business development opportunities. Here are examples of Web3 startups she has sourced into the SAP ecosystem: Amberdata, BitPay, Everledger, GMetri, Veremark.

Previously, Sallie was VP and Head of Venture Capital at SeedInvest (acquired by Circle USDC exchange) where she led over two dozen startup investments, including leading their investment committees, term sheet negotiations, comprehensive due diligence, and company analysis.

She was also CFO and Head of Business Development at Savile Row Society (men’s e-commerce), Associate at General Atlantic (private equity) and TMT Investment Banking Analyst at Morgan Stanley (Technology in Silicon Valley). Sallie graduated from the Haas Business Program at UC Berkeley.

She has received awards such as Innovators & Disruptors in Venture Capital (by CNBC & America on Tech) and Top 50 Women Transforming FinTech (by NYC Women in Fintech).
